Contact via Email or Contact Form

When you contact us by email or through a contact form, the data you provide (your email address, possibly your name and telephone number) will be stored by us to answer your questions (Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter b) GDPR. If we request input via our contact form that is not necessary for contacting us, we have always marked it as optional. This information serves to specify your request and to improve the processing of your concern. The disclosure of this information is expressly on a voluntary basis and with your consent, Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter a) GDPR. If this involves information about communication channels (e.g., email address, telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via these communication channels to respond to your request. You can revoke this consent at any time for the future. To pursue our legitimate interest (Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter f) GDPR), we also use your personal data to inform you by post about new projects.

Online Donations

As part of using our donation form, we store your name, bank details, and address and forward them to Haus des Stiftens gGmbH, Landshuter Allee 11, 80637 Munich, for order data processing. In our name, Haus des Stiftens gGmbH will create the financial accounting and usually the respective donation receipt.

Email Newsletter

You will only receive our email newsletter if you have expressly consented to this. Your email address will only be used for this purpose. You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter or informing us by email of your wish to unsubscribe.

Data Transmission

We do not pass on your personal data to third parties unless you have given us explicit consent to do so (Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter a) GDPR), we are legally obliged to pass on the data in individual cases (Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter c) GDPR), or it is necessary to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data (Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter f) GDPR).

Storage Period

Data that are subject to statutory retention obligations under tax and commercial law are stored for this period of ten years. We will delete your personal data immediately after the statutory retention obligations and deadlines imposed by the legislator have expired if the purpose of processing has been achieved.

You have the right to receive information about the data stored about you at any time. If you have provided personal data, you can request the transmission of this data in a structured, common, and machine-readable format.
